The Army of Helaman: Coming and Going!

The wonderful work of the Lord here in the California Riverside Mission continues to roll forth. Another transfer has come and gone. We wanted to share with you some photos of the outgoing and incoming missionaries.

Elders Porrazzo, Jackson, McInnes, Ngatuvai, Davis, Casper, Escobar, Gallacher; Sisters Edwards, Hackley, Parker, McDaniel, Peters; and President and Sister Hammon
Monday night at the mission home for dinner and testimony is always a highlight to participate in. The outgoing missionaries’ testimonies are so uplifting, and they fill us with spiritual awe of what they have become over the past two years or 18 months. We are so blessed to be here serving the Lord along side these wonderful and gifted elders and sisters.

They just ate a delicious dinner, consisting of street tacos and all the trimmings! Yum!

The elders finally have their turn in line for breakfast!

The sisters going home and to another mission after being in our mission for a transfer waiting for a visa to arrive.

We are blessed to have Elder and Sister Shirley who picked up Hermana Smyer from the airport via the Mexico Missionary Training Center (MTC) Monday night while we are in the outgoing testimony meeting.

Tuesday morning we are up arriving at the airport in time to check in the luggage and take photos.

Then back home to wash sheets and make beds to prepare the home for the incoming missionaries from the Provo MTC.

Tuesday night we welcomed 10 new missionaries! Hurrah for Israel! It always brings a smile to our faces when we see these Elders and Sisters and their bright shinning smiles come down the escalator.
